Skittles: Maca's Muppets looking good

THE advantage is very much with Maca’s Muppets in the race to win the Division Three crown in the Yeovil Skittles League.

An excellent knock of 65 by C. Pitcher helped them to a 10-2 win over Barn Again and they now lead second-placed GWRSC by 19 points and with a game in hand.

Clangers gained only their seventh win of the season with a 12-0 whitewash of Gazelles with N. Guppy (61) and P. Nelson (59) on form.

Cannon Fodder are looking good bets for the Division Four crown following their 11-1 win over Above Standard. They lead second-placed Sub-Standard by 32 points.

While Young Lions are favourites to land the Division Two crown, there is a real scramble to avoid relegation following on from rock bottom Throw Backs with just 15 points separating the next seven sides.

Champions Yellow Wagtail B saw their unassailable lead at the top of Division One cut to 56 points after Westland Choppers defeated Westland A 10-2.
