Football: Johnson pleased with Yeovil Town desire

Football: Johnson pleased with Yeovil Town desireYEOVIL Town manager Gary Johnson (pictured) was pleased with the point his team gained this afternoon in the 0-0 draw wtih Notts County at Huish Park in the npower League One.

It was the first time the Glovers had been held to a 0-0 stalemate at Huish Park since February 2010, but Johnson said it was certainly no bore-draw in what was an entertaining encounter.

''Certainly it was one of the best 0-0 games I've been involved in,''  he told BBC Somerset.

''But that desire and passion that I was looking for and have been asking for, during the last few days now, was there. They're the types of games where performance matters so much. Then the results will come at the end of that.

''They needed to feel that workrate and that energy throughout the game. Notts County are a good side and they're going to be there or thereabouts. They've got a lot of experience, and that've had a big budget for a little while now, in the last two or three seasons and we've more than matched them."
