Rugby: Castle Cary Colts 10pts, Ivel Barbarians Colts 31
AN Ivel Barbarians Colts side, who were missing a number of players, travelled to Castle Cary.
The pitch was very heavy and the conditions did not support running rugby.
The first half closed 10pts-5 to Ivel Barbarians. Both teams found it difficult to produce fluid attacks and the defences were certainly on top.
In the second half Ivel Barbarians managed to put together some excellent moves with trys scored through direct running and good handling.
The Ivel team really pulled together and eventually won 31pts-10.
