Skittles: Latest news, results and tables from Yeovil Sports League

THERE were some vital games in Division Three this week in the Yeovil Sports Skittles League which saw Casuals knocked off top spot after Let It Roll beat them by 35.   

This allowed Incredibles to take over the lead with a 12-pin away win over early season leaders Outsiders who now dropped to fifth place.

Debaggers moved up to third place with a hard-fought six-pin win over Richard Edwards.

Jets were well beaten at home by Pacemakers thanks mainly to the week’s top scorer Fred Robbin who hit 59.

Big game in Division Four saw leaders RN Legion Sports beat third-placed Wessex Plus by seven pins.

Misfits and Up and Aways continue to lead the way in Division Five with wins over Motiv8 and Split Pins respectively, but third-place Elite lost ground with a seven-pin defeat by Nomads.

Easy Boys retained their 100 per cent record at the top of Division One with ODS also unbeaten just one behind.

Best win in this division was by Yellow Wagtail B away to Herky Snerkeys who now appear to be out of the title race after their fine start to the season.

Croc’s Lot march on with a six-point lead in Division Two with Ooo Unlucky and Combo making a great effort to get to the top division for the very first time, but they will have to watch out for Tripods who have results outstanding.
