The Glovers go into the game after winning their last two successive League One matches and now sit in 11th spot in the table. Crewe are five places below them in 16th, but only two points adrift of the Green and White Army.

And Skiverton, speaking to the BBC, said: “It is a really tough game for us. Gresty Road has been a tough place for us to get a result in the past.

“Crewe have a few dangers in their squad, but we need to make sure we go in to the game knowing everything about them.

“We need to put a game plan together so we can get a result.”

Yeovil go into the game with skipper, defender Jamie McAllister, and experienced striker, James Hayter, both struggling with what have been described as “niggling” injuries, but are expected to travel to Crewe.
