Skittles: Latest news from Yeovil League

YELLOW Wagtail B marched on at the top of Division One in the Yeovil Skittles League with their fourth straight win of the season.

They enjoyed an 11-1 win over Wessex Sports to lead the table by 14 points from second-placed sides Eight Stars and Westland Choppers.

Eight Stars in fact defeated Choppers 10-2 in their latest match to go level on points with their rivals.

Sparks are just a point behind after their 11-1 success over Pirates. It was tough luck on A. Gooder who hit an excellent 60 for Pirates, while W. Porter hit 60 for Sparks.

Young Lions made it four wins from four outings at the top of Division Two with an 11-1 success over Bradford Sports.

They lead second-placed Royal Marine by nine points following their 11-1 success over Wessex Wyverns.

Oddballs are front-runners in Division Three with four wins. Their latest success came in an 11-1 win over Bull Inn.

Clangers are second in the table and nine points behind Oddballs after their 11-1 success against Imps.

Cannon Fodder top Division Four with a fourth straight win - their latest being a narrow 9-3 win over Hendford Halt.

R. Pitman was in good form for Hendford as he hit 55, but it was not enough as his team lost by just three pins.
