LEISURE: Rock and Roll! Chris has every right to be Paranoid – his beard is coming off in charity gig!

DRUMMER Chris Holding will be raising money for charity tonight (Saturday, July 30, 2016) when he has his beard shaved off while playing at a gig in Yeovil.

Chris, a member of Yeovil-based band GTwo, will be playing at the Old Barn Club from 9pm and he will have his beard shaved off by Darren Hardy while simultaneously drumming to Black Sabbath’s Paranoid.

He is raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association which he has described on his online JustGiving fundraising page as a “s**thouse disease that must be eradicated.”

Chris is hoping to raise £500 for the charity and has said that all donations will be welcome on the night.

“While we are playing Black Sabbath’s Paranoid I’ll be having my beard shaved off,” he said. “No blood is expected to be spilt!”

The six members of GTwo play a whole host of covers from through the ages and a great night is in store at the Old Barn Club in Yeovil tonight – plus raising money for a most worthwhile cause.

Even Ozzy Osbourne of Black Sabbath would have a good night!
