HOLIDAYS: Easter Parade at Rocamadour in France

WITNESS the spiritual Easter procession by candlelight at Rocamadour in south-western France – with a trip being run by Yeovil-based South West Coaches.

The six-night holiday is being run by Wednesday, March 23, 2016, until Tuesday, March, 29, 2016.

People will be able to enjoy the Easter procession on the Saturday (March 26, 2016) evening as it winds its candlelit way through the medieval village of Rocamadour.

The following day people will be able to enjoy some free time and the Easter Sportelle Hunt – a chocolate Easter egg hunt.

The cost of the holiday is £579 and accommodation will be on a half board basis.

There will be two nights at the Novotel Hotel in Orleans – at the start and end of the holiday – with four nights at the Hotel du Lion d’Or in between.

Also included in the trip is a river cruise on the Dordogne and a ride on The Petit train at night along with visits to the Chateau de Cenevieres, Saint-Ciro-Lapopie and Sarlat.
