LIVE MUSIC: X Factor finalist Rhydian at the Octagon Theatre

RHYDIAN, the double platinum award-winning Classical Brit nominated Welsh baritone who shot to fame after being a finalist on the 2007 edition of The X Factor, is performing at the Octagon Theatre on Saturday (October 3, 2015) to celebrate the success of his fifth Classical Crossover album - One Day Like This.

Since its release Rhydian enjoyed ten weeks at Number 1 in the Official Classical charts, making it one of the biggest selling classical albums of 2014. He has also completed two successful tours and starred in Beauty & The Beast, and Andrew Lloyd Webber's hit musical Jesus Christ Superstar.

Over the past eight years Rhydian's career has seen him sell in excess of a million albums Worldwide. He has performed and duetted with a wide cross section of the biggest names in music from Bryn Terfel to Idina Menzel.

He presented and performed in his own ten-part TV series and has starred in many lead roles in Musical Theatre.

Rhydian is pleased to invite soprano Lucy Kay to join him as a special guest. Since appearing on Britain's Got Talent last year, Lucy has had a Classical Number One debut album with Fantasia and toured with Collabro and Andrea Bocelli.
