LIVE THEATRE: Music of the Night for Yeovil Musical Theatre Company

SONGS from some of the greatest West End and Broadway musicals will help to raise funds for the talented Yeovil Musical Theatre Company.

Music of the Night will be held at Westlands leisure complex in Yeovil on Friday, April 24, 2015, with doors opening at 7.30pm.

There will be songs from Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Jersey Boys, Mamma Mia, Shrek, Wicked, The Lion King, Miss Saigon and many more.

All proceeds from the event will go towards helping the YMTC put on the ever-popular musical, West Side Story, at the Octagon Theatre in Yeovil from July 7-11, 2015, with Martyn Knight as director and choreographer and Martin Emslie as musical director.

Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is transported to modern-day New York in West Side Story as two young idealistic lovers find themselves caught between warring street gangs – the American Jets and the Puerto Rican Sharks.
