Golf: Hole-in-one for Rob Smith!

YEOVIL businessman and “enthusiastic” golfer Rob Smith has been celebrating today (Thursday, February 27, 2014) after hitting his first-ever hole-in-one!

Rob, who is the managing director of Yeovil-based furniture retailer Fit & Furnish, said the golfer’s dream feat happened today at 8.10am on the Par 3 second hole at Yeovil Golf Club with an eight-iron.

“I don’t want to talk about it,” said a very modest Rob following a celebratory and traditional tipple (or two) back at the “19th hole” i.e. the clubhouse!
