Oscars night at Club Neo for Under-18s
THE red carpet will be rolled out tomorrow (Wednesday, February 19, 2014) at Club Neo in Yeovil for the latest Under-18s party organised by the Zero Project.
The theme of tomorrow’s disco will be the Oscars and young clubbers will be encouraged to be a “film star for the night” including getting “papped” with their friends in a fun photo booth.
The party will be held from 7pm to 11pm at Club Neo in Stars Lane, Yeovil. Entry is £5 payable on the door.
Zero has been successfully running under 18 events during school holidays for the past six years for Year Nine students upwards and attracts young people from across Somerset and Dorset.
The aim of the Zero project, which is supported by the local Police, District and County Councils, Somerset Drug and Alcohol Partnership, REACH, local schools, youth organisations and parents is to reduce anti-social and binge drinking by providing a safe, alcohol free environment where young people can enjoy a good night of music and dance.
This is done by carrying out breath testing and bag searches on entry. Parents are expected to ensure that their children have a safe route home and the Zero team endeavours to ensure a safe passage to the nearby Stars Lane car park at the end of the evening.
