Charity ball for SSAFA

A CHARITY ball will be held at Haynes Motor Museum at Sparkford later this year to raise funds for the Armed Forces charity SSAFA.Charity ball for SSAFA

The event is from 6.45pm in readiness for a 7.15pm start on Friday, November 29, and the ticket price of £30 will include drinks on arrivals, free entry to the museum, superb two-course buffet, charity auction, tombola and live entertainment.

The entertainment will see comedy with Stewart Masters, music with the RNAS Yeovilton-base Military Wives Choir and dancing with the Elvis 56 tribute act to the King of Rock and Roll.

Dress code is “black tie” for the gents and evening gown or cocktail dress for the ladies.

SSAFA – which stands for Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association – is the UK’s oldest Armed Forces charity with its roots dating back to February 1885.

The charity provides practical support and assistance to servicemen and women, veterans and their families.
