Plenty to do at the AWLC Festival

THERE are plenty of activities going on at the AgustaWestland Leisure Complex in Yeovil today (Sunday, August 11).

The complex in Westbourne Close is holding a real ale festival, mini fun fair, bouncy castle, charity stalls, morris dancing, live music and hog roast as part of the AWLC Festival.

Among the performers will be the AgustaWestland House Band and Yeovil Town Band, while always a popular attraction will be the miniature steam train rides.

Visitors will also be able to find out a whole host of information about the clubs, groups and activities available at the Westland Leisure Complex throughout the year.

A spokesman said: “It is a fun day out for all the family!”

The fun started at 11am and will go through until late this evening.
