Spring Fair TODAY at St Margaret's Hospice in Yeovil

THE third annual Spring Fair at St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice in Yeovil will be held TODAY (Saturday, May 18).

The beautiful gardens at the hospice on the outskirts of Yeovil at Little Tarrat Lane will be open from 11.30am to 3.30pm and visitors will have a tremendous variety of entertainment to enjoy.

The Yetminster Dancers will be performing and for those interested in more traditional dance, Morris Dancers will demonstrate their art.

A variety of music will also be performed throughout the day with soloist Sarah Lowery, the Yeovil Quintet and the Wessex Highlanders.

Visitors of all ages will also be entertained by the Star Wars UK Garrison501 and a dog agility demonstration will be included in the programme.

A barbeque, delicious teas and stalls with local crafts and bric-a-brac, all combine to make this a family friendly day. Certainly something for everyone!

Community fundraiser Andrea Ledger said: ‘’This is going to be another fabulous event.

‘’We want to welcome local people to enjoy a day of fun at the hospice, which has such an important role in the quality of life of many local people.

‘’There is an entry fee of £2 for adults, children are free. We want everyone to have fun as well as help us to raise vital funds.’’
