Jake Bugg is a smash hit!

MUSIC fans had a fantastic time last night at the Westland Leisure Complex in Yeovil when young star Jake Bugg (pictured) came to town.

Yeovil postman Nick Burton, who was among the sell-out crowd at Westland, said: ‘’It was a great night.’’

Nick managed to grab this photo of himself with the 18-year-old singer/songwriter who was launched onto the music scene at the 2011 Glastonbury Festival when he was chosen by the BBC to appear on their Introducing Stage. Jake Bugg is a smash hit!

Hundreds gathered at the Westland Leisure Complex last night and although it might be a long way from the thousands who attend Glasto, Bugg put on a fab show for the fans.

Also among the audience was Yeovil’s very own girl group, Alice in the Attic, previously known as Unique Faith, who are gaining a good following locally and were performing at the same Westland venue as Bugg the previous night.

They loved the Jake Bugg show and are now themselves looking forward to their own forthcoming gig at the Yellow Wagtail pub in Yeovil on Saturday, March 16, at 9pm where they will be supported by Tammie Lloyd.

Tammie joined the girls at Westland last night for the Jake Bugg concert along with Jack Osmond and Marianne Orwin.

Marianne, speaking on Facebook, said: ‘’Jake Bugg was FAB! He is the next best thing to happen in music – how he has saved us from all the mundane stuff.

‘’He is going to be so big – just watch this space!’’

Alice in the Attic have just finished their latest single Freak Out 0001 – check it out on You Tube at the following link www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCtxsFA5uZQ ...
