Jake Bugg is coming!

THE Westland Leisure Complex in Yeovil is preparing itself for this weekend’s SOLD OUT concert featuring  highly talented singer/songwriter Jake Bugg.Jake Bugg is coming!

All tickets for Saturday’s concert were snapped up by fans of the 18-year-old weeks ago and now there are just a couple of days before the singer takes to the stage at Westland.

Bugg has sprung himself onto the music scene since he was chosen by the BBC to appear on their ‘Introducing’ Stage at the 2011 Glastonbury Festival when he was aged 17 and from that he was rewarded with a contract by Mercury Records.

His songs were then placed on various BBC Radio play lists and one of them, Country Song, was selected for use in a TV beer commercial for Greene King IPA.

Last year he appeared on the TV show Later with Jools Holland and then supported Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds at the Belsonic Music Festival in Belfast.

His song Lightning Bolt was played during the build-up to the 100m mens final at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

And his debut album, self-titled Jake Bugg, was released on October 15, 2012, and reached No 1 in the UK charts.

And now he is heading for Yeovil.....

Staff at the Westland Leisure Complex in Yeovil have said that the complex will be closed from 3pm on Saturday to allow for last minute preparations ahead of the eagerly-awaited concert.
