AN APPEAL has been issued for witnesses after a 20ft straw man was destroyed in a fire at North Perrott. The sculpture had been produced for the North Perrot Farm Shop's annual apple day, which is to be held tomorrow (Saturday, October 13). POLICE are appealing for information after six elks were stolen from a farm near Yeovil. The elks were stolen between Thursday, October 4, and Friday, October 5.
