YOUTH CRICKET: Holyrood team shines indoors
HOLYROOD Academy in Chard has continued its run of sensational sporting triumphs with the Year 8s recently being crowned South Somerset Under-13 Indoor Cricket Champions!
The Holyrood team travelled to Stanchester Academy at Stoke-sub-Hamdon near Yeovil for the South Somerset District Final.
Holyrood outscored the hosts by 78 runs to 62. Man of the Match was Louis Goodman with five wickets.
James Salaman and Alfred Busby both top scored with the bat qualifying the team for the Chance 2 Shine regional finals. Howzat!!
