SCHOOL NEWS: Theatre visits for drama students
THE drama department at Holyrood Academy in Chard keeps students’ interests alive through educational theatre visits.
Seen here are recent trips of Year 9 at the Theatre Royal Bath to see The Lord of the Flies and Year 12-13 English and drama students outside Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London before going to watch Macbeth at the YoungVicTheatre.
Students were particularly excited to see the Globe’s thatched roof as it is the only building in London that is allowed to be thatched.
