SCHOOL NEWS: Tiny tots tie the knot ahead of the Royal Wedding
THE children and parents of All Saints Primary School in Montacute got in the mood for the Royal Wedding by attending an enactment of a wedding ceremony at the village church.
All the children in Class One dressed up in their best attire and each child had a special role to play in the ceremony – there was a large wedding party including the bride, bridegroom, best man, bridesmaids, mother and father of the bride and, of course, lots of guests.
Rev Annie Gurner led a very realistic wedding service at St Catherine’s Church in Montacute on Thursday (May 17, 2018) which complimented the learning in school about Christian festivals.
Headteacher Sharon Bowditch said: “It was a wonderful occasion which gave all our children the chance to share in the excitement that Harry and Meghan must be feeling about their big day.”
