SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES: Holyrood launches show jumping team

THREE students from Holyrood Academy in Chard represented the school at the NSEA show jumping event at the Bicton Arena in Devon.

This was the first time ever Holyrood had entered the NSEA event and the team will continue to compete in a number of competitions over the coming months against schools from the South West including Colyton, Torquay Grammar and Blundell’s.

Sports development manager, Richard Evans, said: “At HolyroodAcademy we are keen to support our students across a wide range of sports and to see this team in the Academy colours at these events is fantastic.

“We are seeking to build the team and the hard work of the girls and their parents has provided an excellent foundation.”
