SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES: Holyrood praises its cross country runners
HOLYROOD Academy in Chard achieved some respectable results in an Area Schools Cross Country race at King’s College in Taunton.
A promising team of Year 7s and 8s gained decent results in the event on February 24, 2015.
Jess Withers and Nicola Mullane came 31st and 32nd respectively in the girls race, while in hte boys section there was an excellent 16th finish for Jacob Boobyer. Leo Govier came 27th, Sam Parker 43rd and Alfie Robins finished 45th.
