WOMEN'S FOOTBALL: Pen Mill Ladies are looking to develop

THE Yeovil-based Pen Mill Football Club is looking to develop its ladies group by setting up football training for girls aged 14-16 years.

The club have qualified coaches ready to help get this project off the ground and train the girls in readiness to move into the Pen Mill Ladies team or set up a reserve side in the near future.WOMEN'S FOOTBALL: Pen Mill Ladies are looking to develop

The club’s ladies manager, Neil Hayward, said: “We are looking to try and get this up and running as early as November in the hope we can find enough girls interested in playing football and continue their development into the ladies set up.”

The club has set up a provisional booking slot at Westfield Academy in Yeovil on the school’s new artificial pitch. The time will be 7pm to 8pm on a Monday starting November 3, 2014.

Hayward added: “The training will look at all aspects of the game from defending, attacking, team play, individual play and building up the players confidence as well as making it fun along the way.

“The cost is reasonable as well and each session will only cost £2 per player.”

If you are interested in playing football and meeting new people to socialise and become part of a great set up at Pen Mill Football Club.
