SKITTLES: Dening Cup First Round results in Yeovil League

THERE were a couple of shock giant-killing results in the opening round of the Dening Cup First Round in the Yeovil Skittles League.

JP Boys of Division One lost by ten pins to Two Cheers, of Division Four, while Sparks, also of Division One, were beaten by two pins by Division Three side Barn Again.

But Yellow Wagtail B, Westland A Exiles, RAOB B and Morley Exiles, all of Division One, made it safely through.

The only all-Division One clash saw Wessex Sports lose out to top flight rivals Young Lions by 42 pins.

Traders, of Division One, gained a walkover victory.
