YEOVIL NEWS: Pregnant woman and her mother assaulted

A YOUNG pregnant woman and her mother were assaulted outside flats in Yeovil.

Police are now appealing for the public’s help following the attack which happened at about 4pm on Thursday, September 25, 2014, outside the Fosse Park Road flats off of West Hendford.

A police spokesman told the Yeovil Press: “A young pregnant woman and her mother were assaulted by another woman.

“The suspect is thought to have driven off in a silver-coloured Peugeot.”

The spokesman added: “The incident happened when the victims were sat on a sofa surrounded by other furniture. They were in the process of moving out of the flats.”

Police are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident who may have information to help with enquiries.
