CRICKET: Westland Sports to host Chairman XI v President XI friendly

WESTLAND Sports CC will be holding a friendly match on Sunday (August 31, 2014) between a Chairman’s XI and a President’s XI.

The match – being played as part of the Sodexo Open day at the Westland leisure complex in Yeovil – will be a Twenty20 contest and will start at 2pm.

The squads will be made from senior and junior members of Westland Sports and comprise of the following: Scott Ewens, Dan Ewens, Martin Kearvell, Tom Kearvell, Ben Hurlock, Ben Ford, Alex Murphy, Rich Reeves, Jordan Reeves, Scott Reeves, Shaun Chambers, Calum Marles, Chris White, Louis Martin, Alex Watts, Clive Higgins, Matt Dyer, Sam Watts, Nick Hallam, Dan Holt, Duncan McCabe, Tom Laney.

Players are asked to let club chairman Rob Fox know whether they can play or not be emailing him tomorrow (Thursday, August 28, 2014) at the latest.
