FOOTBALL: Great start from Wincanton Town
WINCANTON Town have made an impressive 100 per cent success start to the new 2014-15 season in Division One of the Toolstation Western League.
They have won all three of their opening games to the campaign with a 4-2 success yesterday (Saturday, August 16, 2014) at Portishead Town where they came back from 2-0 down.
Last Saturday (August 9, 2014) on the opening day of the season they defeated Chippenham Park 2-1 at home and followed that with a 3-1 win at Barnstaple Town on Tuesday (August 12, 2014).
Next up for Wincanton is Tuesday (August 19, 2014) and the visit of Wellington.
