Football: Premier Cup games in Yeovil League

PREMIER Division leaders Pen Mill be looking to bounce back to form today (Saturday, October 19, 2013) in the Yeovil and District Saturday League.

Pen Mill suffered a surprise 5-0 defeat at home to Normalair last weekend, but they still hold a two-point advantage over second-placed Brhoden, although the latter have two games in hand in which to overhaul that deficit.

The leaders are back in action today in the Premier Division Cup where they play host to Somerton.

The big game will see Normalair tackle Brhoden at home, while the other Premier Cup game today involves AFC Huish visiting Milborne Port.

Stoke can go top of the table today in Division One if they overcome the challenge of Castle Cary.

FC Barton Leverkusen could also take over top spot if Stoke fail in their game with Cary and Barton win at Milborne Port Reserves.

Montacute and Manor Athletic could close the gap on Division Two leaders Mudford if they win their games at AFC Huish Reserves and Waggy Athletic respectively.

Division Three leaders Ilchester, who defeated Charlton 10-1 last weekend, are back at home today when they play host to Ashcott Reserves.
