Football: Top two to go head-to-head in Yeovil Saturday League

PREMIER Division leaders Pen Mill play host to second-placed Brhoden tomorrow (Saturday, October 5) in the Yeovil Saturday Football League.

Pen Mill top the table with 12 points from their opening five games; last weekend they defeated Milborne Port 4-2.

Brhoden, meanwhile, are two points adrift, but have a game in hand. Last Saturday they gained their third win of the campaign with a narrow 1-0 success over Normalair.

It makes tomorrow's 2pm clash at Johnson Park in Yeovil an intriguing affair with Pen Mill knowing that defeat will allow Brhoden to seize the initiative.

At the other end of the Premier Division table, Milborne Port will be looking for their first win of the campaign when they visit AFC Huish.

Joint Division Two leaders both have home games tomorrow. Stoke and Martock United are tied at the top on 12 points apiece, although Martock has a game in hand.

Stoke play host to Normalair Reserves, while Martock entertain Milborne Port Reserves.

The only teams in the four-division league still without a point are Bruton United in Division Two and FC Barton Leverkusen Reserves in Division Three.

Bruton will be hoping to break that duck tomorrow when they travel to face Waggy Athletic, while FC Barton Reserves are away at Charlton.

Division Two leaders Mudford are home to third-placed Somerton Reserves.Football: Top two to go head-to-head in Yeovil Saturday League

There is currently a three-way tie at the top of Division Three. Barwick and Stoford visit Ashcott Rovers, Ilchester play host to Victoria Sports Reserves and Martock United Reserves are on their travels to Odcombe.
