SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES: House captains at Swanmead

THE new house captains at Swanmead School in Ilminster have quickly got into their roles.

Year Eight pupils Jude White (Herne House), Josie Gray (Isle House) and Jake Nicholas (Minster House) have taken the reins and leading their houses and playing a huge part in helping improve and develop the school.

Headteacher Mark Walker said: “These pupils have worked so hard during their time at Swanmead and very much deserve this opportunity to represent the children in their house.

“Our congratulations to them and their families on being selected as house captains.”
