SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES: Preston says goodbye to Pat

PRESTON School in Yeovil has said goodbye to a long-standing member of staff who has retired.

Pat Quinton has dedicated nearly 30 years of her time to working at the school in various different roles including science technician, lunchtime supervisor and exam invigilator.

A school spokesman said: “Everyone in our school community would like to thank Pat for her support of the school and her hard work during her time here.

“She is well-liked and respected by students, staff and families and will be missed by all next term.”

The spokesman added; “We would like to wish Pat and her family well in her retirement.”
