ELECTIONS: Battle of Bridgwater
THE General Election campaign in the Bridgwater and West Somerset constituency has officially started with Ian Liddell-Grainger hoping to win the seat for a fourth term for the Conservatives.
Mr Liddell-Grainger won the 2010 election with a 9,249 majority from the Liberal Democrat candidate Theo Butt Philip
The two of them will now lock horns again in this year’s election which will see people go to the polls on Thursday, May 7, 2015.
Michael Lerry will be standing for Labour, while Stephen Fitzgerald will be representing the UK Independence Party and Julie Harvey-Smith for the Green Party.
