ELECTIONS: Trio of LibDem success in Yeovil West
THE Liberal Democrats have stormed to a triple victory in the Yeovil West Ward of South Somerset District Council.
Cllrs John Clark, Wes Read and Alan Smith took the three seats up for grabs in the ward in yesterday’s (Thursday, May 7, 2015) election.
Results: Yeovil West Ward (3 seats): Mick Beales (Con) 1049; John Ernie Clark (LibDems) 1364; Dan Marks (Lab) 462; Wes Read (LibDems) 1347; Colin John Rose (Lab) 431; Alan Barry Smith (LibDems) 1072; Ash Strelling (Con) 954; David Keith Tolley (Con) 851; Tony Turner (UKIP) 844.
