ELECTIONS: LibDems retain Yeovil Central Ward
THE Liberal Democrats have retained all three seats in the Yeovil Central Ward.
Cllrs Peter Gubbins, Kaysar Mahmud Hussain and Andy Kendall saw off the challenge of their Conservative rivals in yesterday's (Thursday, May 7, 2015) election at South Somerset District Council.
Results: Yeovil Central Ward (3 seats): David John Byrne (Con 1013); Linda Jane Gage (Con) 872; Peter Arnold Gubbins (LibDems) 1329; Kaysar Mahmud Hussain (LibDems) 1132; Andy Kendall (LibDems) 1308; Mark Gordon Lambden (Lab) 626; Terry Lavin (Lab) 581; Bridget Mary Philomena Spender (Con) 777.
