ELECTIONS: Congratulations to Crewkerne trio

CLLRS Angie Singleton and Mike Best have retained their seats on South Somerset District Council for Crewkerne.

The Liberal Democrat duo polled 1,555 and 2,050 votes respectively in the election yesterday (Thursday, May 7, 2015).

They will be joined at SSDC by Cllr Marcus Barrett, of the Conservatives, who polled 1,827 votes. It means Conservatives have gained a seat in Crewkerne with the town having previously been all LibDem.

Results: Martin John Bailey (Lab) 797; Marcus Morton Barrett (Con) 1,827; Mike Best (LibDems) 2,050; Nathan Harmer-Taylor (Green) 626; Ben Keiron Hartshorn (Green) 672; Adam Keen (Con) 1,369; Katy Limmer (Green) 696; Robin Christopher Pailthorpe (LibDems) 1,498; Andrew John Newman Simkins (Con) 1,286; Angie Singleton (LibDems) 1,555.
