SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES: New classroom at South Petherton

SOUTH Petherton Junior School is planning on having a new classroom to help cope with an increase in pupil numbers.

South Somerset District Council has raised no objections to the County Hall proposals for the school in Hayes End, South Petherton.

The planned scheme will provide one new classroom built as an extension to the existing school building with an inter-connecting corridor.

The school is expanding its numbers to 150 pupils and the need for extra classroom facilities is essential.
