SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES: On the Ning Nang Nong at Preston Primary
PUPILS at Preston Primary School in Yeovil have been having fun learning nonsense poetry.
In groups the children created actions for the much-loved Spike Milligan poem On the Ning Nang Nong.
A school spokesman said: “The enjoyment was clear to see through their facial expressions!”
Spike Milligan was a comedian, writer, musician, poet and playwright who died at the age of 83 in 2002 – long before the Preston pupils who grew to love On the Ning Nang Nong were born.
