WOMEN’S FOOTBALL: Yeovil Town Ladies safely through
YEOVIL Town Ladies safely moved through to the Fourth Round of the FA Women’s Cup with a 4-1 success over Lewes Ladies this afternoon (Sunday, February 1, 2015) in Sherborne.
New signing Corinne Yorston scored a debut goal at the Jones Stadium to give Yeovil the lead and Helen Bleazard made it 2-0.
Lewes pulled one back, before Ellie Curson made it 3-1 to Yeovil by the half-time interval.
Yeovil made it 4-1 in the second period when Annie Heatherson netted on her full debut for the Glovers.
