SKITTLES: Yellow Wagtail B march on at top in Yeovil League

YELLOW Wagtail B marched on imperiously at the top of Division One in the Yeovil Skittles League with a 12-0 success over RAOB B.

They now lead Division One by 27 points from second-placed Unstoppables, who beat Wessex Sports 11-1 in their latest game and have a game in hand in which to reduce the large deficit.

Top individual knock of the week in Division One was hit by H. Hebditch, of Young Lions, who scored 58, but it was not enough to prevent his team from falling to a heavy 11-1 defeat against Traders.

GAZELLES are narrow two-point leaders at the top of Division Two over Blake and Fox.

They gained a 9-3 win over Bradford Sports to leapfrog above Blake and Fox into pole position.

DIVISION Three leaders Three at a Time gained an 11-1 win over promotion rivals Pin Heads.

DIVISION Four leaders Green Dragon suffered a 10-2 defeat against Tree Monsters – but still hold a three-point advantage over second-placed Troubleshooters.

A superb knock of 65 by S. Bayley was not enough to lead Marine Machine to victory in their match with the Animals; they fell to a slender four-pin defeat.

The Mike Dyer Captain’s Cup has been won by A. Northover, of Three at a Time. He hit 46 in the final to beat runner-upI. Dare, of Pin Heads, by just one pin.
