ILMINSTER made it two wins from two matches this season over local rivals Chard last night (Thursday, June 12, 2014) following their 50-run success in the Baker Cup competition.

Ilminster amassed 135-6 from their 20-over allocation, while Chard were all out for just 85 in the quarter-final cup clash.

The victory complimented Ilminster’s win over Chard earlier in the summer at the Ilminster Recreation Ground in the West of England League Premier Two.

Ilminster will now meet Taunton Deane A in the Baker Cup semi-final on Monday, June 23, 2014, at Taunton CC.

The final will be held on Thursday, July 3, at the County Ground in Taunton.
