Cricket: Nets for Westland Sports
WESTLAND Sports Cricket Club in Yeovil will be holding net practice on Sunday (April 13, 2014) from 5pm to 7pm.
The session will be held at the club at Westland in Westbourne Grove and will give the opportunity for players to get-together following the news earlier this week that they were pulling out of this year’s West of England Premier League.
The club is confident that it has a bright future ahead with a flourishing youth section and it will continue to have two sides playing in the Somerset Cricket League.
A club spokesman, speaking on social networking Twitter, said: “Time to all group together and move forward.
“Season isn’t too far away and places up for grabs.”
