Horse Racing: Somerset's finest on parade at Wincanton

THE Under Starter's Orders Raceday on Thursday (October 17, 2013) will launch Wincanton Racecourse’s 2013-14 jump season with a superstar parade that includes Somerset’s finest - Big Buck's and Cue Card.

The action packed meeting provides racegoers with the ultimate insight into the world of horseracing with a complimentary behind the scenes tour and trips to the start for all six races. 

Channel 4 Racing presenter, Alice Plunkett, with the legendary Luke Harvey, will interview leading Somerset trainers – Paul Nicholls, David Pipe, Colin Tizzard and Jeremy Scott – investigating and probing into their seasonal campaign and equine fancies.

To complement the team talk, at 1.30pm racegoers will also experience a parade of racehorses featuring some of the stars from the West Country  that includes Big Buck's, Celestial Halo, Cue Card, Theatrical Star and Grands Crus, followed by the launch of the new Wincanton Golf Challenge and a six racecard.
