SCHOOL NEWS: Sharing transport at Buckler’s Mead and Pen Mill

TWO schools in Yeovil have joined forces to ensure their pupils get about on the road.

Buckler’s Mead Academy and Pen Mill Academy have clubbed together in order to buy two minibuses.

The two schools worked in partnership after realising that it would be more cost-effective to share their own transport rather than hiring each time.

Pen Mill’s executive head Zoe Coghlan and some pupils visited Buckler’s Mead on Monday (November 14, 2016) to meet up with Buckler’s Mead students and headteacher Sara Gorrod for a photocall with the two new minibuses.
