SCHOOL NEWS: Senior students elected for 2016-17 academic year

PRESTON School in Yeovil has been delighted to announce its senior student team for the 2016-17 academic year.

Head girl has been named as Lauren Bridges, while Antony Floyd will take on the role of head boy.

Hannah Atkin and Rebecca Pritchard have been named as deputy head girls, while Josh Thomas and Petar Genov have been selected as deputy head boys.

The students faced a challenging application and selection process, and were selected for their leadership and teamwork skills.

Gregg Morrison, principal of Preston School, said: “We are delighted with the quality and quantity of applicants this year to be senior students, senior prefects and prefects.

“There is a real desire from our students to influence the effective running of the school and I look forward to working with this great team to make Preston even greater.”

The students will begin their duties after the Easter holidays.
