SCHOOL NEWS: 39 Steps coming to Holyrood Academy

REHEARSALS are well underway and tickets are selling fast for Holyrood Academy's annual production in Chard.

This year's performances in The Thirty Nine Steps promise to be a riveting tale of intrigue and suspense!

This timeless thriller is brought to you by Holyrood Academy's two talented teams - The Hurricanes and The Spitfires - on February 25-26, 2016.

Ethan Smith and Sam Hunt share the leading role of Richard Hannay accompanied by sidekick Pamela, played by Milly Whitefield and Mia Bond, as they attempt to uncover the cryptic secret of The 39 Steps in 1930s London.

A Holyrood spokesman said: “It's great, it's Grand, it's Glorious; this showcase of comedy, thrill and mystery will leave you crooning over the MAN who put the MAN in roMANce , laughing at the wacky and wonderful women and almost definitely wanting more of the secrets and suspense the great Mr Memory has to offer.”

Performances will be held in the Upper Site Hall at Holyrood – starting at 7pm.
