ELECTIONS: Andrew Turpin retains Tatworth and Forton
INDEPENDENT councillor Andrew Turpin has maintained his position on South Somerset District Council by seeing off the challenge of Conservative and Liberal Democrat candidates.
Cllr Turpin polled 608 votes with Conservative candidate Russ Wardell second with 552 in the Tatworth and Forton Ward.
Robin Munday, of the Liberal Democrats, came third with 435.
