CLUBS AND SOCIETIES: Beaver Scouts make sausages at Bonners in Ilminster

BONNERS the Butchers in Ilminster were more than happy to show 12 young would-be butchers the art of making tasty sausages.

The dozen Beaver Scouts from Ilminster loved watching the sausage meat come out of the machine before pressing and twisting to make the sausages.

And then best of all – the youngsters then bagged up the sausages and took them home for their tea!

Helen Lancaster, of the 1st Ilminster Scouts, said: “Fun was had by all and lots of questions were asked. In three weeks time the other half of the Beavers will be going to make their own sausages.

“We’d like to thank Clinton Bonner, of Bonners the Butchers, who gave his time and all the sausages for free.”
