SOMERSET NEWS: Oops – teenager gets stuck in swing

FIREFIGHTERS were called out over the weekend to rescue a 17-year-old lad who had got stuck in a swing in a children’s playground. One fire engine from Frome was mobilised at just after 6.30pm yesterday (Sunday, April 6, 2014) to help free the lad from the child's swing at the playground in Delta Close in the town.

THREE fire engines from Martock and Yeovil were mobilised yesterday (Sunday, April 6, 2014) morning to deal with an agricultural building on fire at Stoke-sub-Hamdon. The alarm was raised at just before 3am to a wooden building to be well alight at Matts Lane, High Street. Arsonists are being blamed for the blaze.
