BUSINESS: Funding support for Yeovil RFC from Jones Building Group

THE Jones Building Group is very proud to announce their continued support of Yeovil Rugby Club with sponsorship funding to aid the development of the youth and ladies set-up at the club.

The Yeovil-based company’s managing director, Mark Jones, said: “We are very pleased to continue our sponsorship of our local rugby club and especially the development of the youth branch of the club.

“We are committed to encouraging and supporting community development initiatives and local sport has proved an effective way to encourage youth development in the community and the promotion of a healthy and active lifestyle.

“By financially supporting the main club it allows them to maintain their facilities so that many local young boys and girls can take part in a more active lifestyle on Sunday mornings.”

Yeovil Rugby Club has 15 teams from age group Under-7s upwards including two ladies teams. There are around 50 ladies and 281 young members playing at the club regularly with several players being selected to represent county teams.

Stuart Froude, chairman at Yeovil Rugby Club, said: “We are very grateful for the support that Jones Building Group brings to our club and the development this allows in our youth and ladies set-up, we are looking forward to the upcoming season.”
